Sometimes our usual conditioner just doesn't cut it and we might need a product that works a little harder. Hair can be put though lots of stresses though daily styling, using heat, bleaching, and colouring especially changing your hair colour often.
Thankfully there are a ton of really great products out there, its just a case of knowing what your hair needs right now.

Moisture treatments/ hair masks - these are basically super concentrated versions of conditioner and work instantly. When hair is lacking moisture it can feel dry, frizzy and just meh. Masks can be applied in salon (yes to that head massage!)  or take one home and use regularly for maximum benefits. Protein Treatments - For the time poor, Eleven Australia does a great 3 minute treatment. Contains Protein (the strenghtening ingredient) & Moisture. Best suited to those with weak, brittle hair that is also dry. Stick to the 3 minute time recommended. Keep in mind that protein treatments  can be overdone and can have the reverse effect on your hair making it feel fragile again. 

Olaplex Treatments - Olaplex treatments can be added to your colour service or be used as a stand alone treatment. It helps to restore your hair to its natural texture. We recommend using Olaplex before a big colour change to repair any previous damage and keep it feeling and looking nice during and after achieving your new look. The first two phases of the Olaplex treatment are done in the salon and you can take home the third phase for regular treatments. Starting from $20 for an express treatment

3. Make time for regular appointments. Every 6-8 weeks will keep your blonde hair in optimum condition. Get your stylist to apply a toner after your colour, have the split ends cut and maybe indulge in a treatment. Your hair will thank you for it!

4. Indulge in a hair mask once a week. These are generally much thicker than a regular conditioner. A protein mask will strengthen hair, great if you've just had a bleaching session while a hydrating mask will add softness. Keune has some beautiful masks, simply apply wrap your hair in clingwrap and wait 10-15 mins. Or longer if you have time ")

5. Finally have some fun with your blonde hair. Its great to experiment with different shades. Popular at the moment is the grey ashy look. Easy to achieve with a toner. Ask your stylist
